Nokia Indonesia share 20 gold medals to the winners of "Nokia Lumia Apps
Olympiad" which runs from mid-November.
The climax is the day, when the judges chose who deserve the
title and was rewarded prizes, including a gold medal worn around the neck of
each participant winners by Developer Manager Nokia South East Asia Narenda
Wicaksono in ceremonies in Jakarta.
"A total of 428 participants from the developer about
40 campuses spread across Indonesia. Of these, selected 54 finalists and 20
winners," Narenda said when met at the sidelines of the event.
The 54 finalists, he continued, was given
"support" by Nokia in the form of Premium Developer Program worth
1500 U.S. dollars. "We are also the make sure their applications can be
enjoyed by consumers. We do not want the applications folder it just stops at
all."
Nokia Lumia Apps Olympiad is a mobile application
development contest held in collaboration with Microsoft Nokia Indonesia
Indonesia in order to welcome the platform Windows Phone 8 on Nokia smartphones
Lumia series.
According Narenda, there are 20 categories the winners were
categorized according to the type of Application Programming Interface (API)
from a number of publishers who are interested in having applications on
Windows Phone 8 Nokia platform, including Urbanesia, Nova, and my friend.
"In order to create applications with this API, the participants were
given three weeks."
One goal Nokia by holding this event is to provide support
for the development of the ecosystem of Windows Phone 8.
The reason, according to Marketing Director Nokia Indonesia
Lukman Susetyo, is because it is essential for the survival of an enterprise
engaged in the mobile business.
"We believe that the key to survive in the mobile world
is an ecosystem. How can we attract people to want to use our platform,"
he said.
Problem ecosystem development, according to him, there is no
platform that provides support for developers as partners Nokia, Microsoft.
"The developer is not merely withdrawn from the streets. We are committed
to educate them in a long time," said Lukman.
Windows Phone Store app store itself, based on information

Nokia Indonesia Mareta Goddess, was enlivened by the
presence of 120 applications made by local developers. "Applications can
also be made available to regions outside of Indonesia, the world over,
